Litua Self-Catering is a charming haven nestled in the picturesque West Highlands of Scotland, just 400 meters from the mesmerizing sea. Our property is situated within an active croft in Arisaig, offering breathtaking sea views that overlook the enchanting Isle of Skye and the Small Isles. The beauty of this location is further enhanced by its close proximity to a selection of stunning nearby beaches, just a short walk away.

The Space

This new stunning modern property is elegantly furnished with underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove, the accommodation has a sliding door that opens up to spacious decking with 7 seater hot tub, a master bedroom with ensuite and an additional two bedrooms upstairs..

The property begins with a portch, complete with handy storage for boots and coats and an immediate feeling of warmth and comfort. After a day of exploring the seaside, venture into the open-plan kitchen/dining/living room which has been designed to maximise the spectacular sea views and beyond.

The fully equipped kitchen features everything you will need to self-cater with ease, including an electric oven, an induction hob, a dishwasher, a fridge/freezer, a Nespresso coffee machine, a microwave and smoothie maker. Meanwhile, the six-seater dining table is the perfect place to gather for meals or plan your next adventure.

For ample comfort, head over to the sitting area, which is complete with two inviting sofas and two armchairs, a crackling log burner and a sliding door leading to the private decking and hot tub. Relax here with a cup of coffee and your favorite book in-hand, or simply admire the unspoiled views.

House book – we create a fully comprehensive digital house book including all the very best things to do and see during your break, putting only personally recommended services at your fingertips.

In here you can expect to find an insider’s guide to the area’s must-see attractions, restaurants, local pubs and activities, as well as learn a little more about the property and owner’s story.

The house book will be available in digital format on receiving your booking confirmation, also featuring instructions on how to use the appliances along with useful contact numbers and information on what to do in an emergency, to ensure that you can enjoy a blissful stay.

Please no food or drinks upstairs

No dogs upstairs or in any bedrooms, they should not be left in the house unattended

Smoking in the accommodation is not allowed

No overnight visitors are allowed to the property

Any day visitors we should be informed in advance

Never leave children unsupervised at the property without any adults

Please don’t take any bath towels with you to the beach
No BBQ on the decking

In order to prevent possible blockages, please do not dispose of food waste,
dangerous liquids, fats, or feminine hygiene items in the toilet, sinks, or shower tray

Please close all the windows and doors every time you leave the property

Please do not drag or rearrange any furniture on the decking or inside

We spent a wonderful Christmas week at Litua with family, friends and dogs. Victoria and Ross were exceptional hosts and have created a warm, welcoming home away from home, with thoughtful touches that made our arrival and stay feel truly special. The setting is simply magical, with stunning beaches, beautiful scenery and breathtaking night skies right on the doorstep. A truly special place to relax, unwind and enjoy all that Arisaig has to offer. We will be back for sure!

Stunning location and the house is exceptionally well appointed. Best of all the beds are really comfortable. Lots of nice extra touches such as coffee pods, sugar seasonings etc provided. The hot tub is clearly well maintained and ready to use which was great. Fully enclosed area which is perfect for dogs with lots of good beaches and walks nearby. Our only suggestion for improvement is that the deck is really slippery when wet so a big squeegee for wiping it down would be useful. Also a sign warning guests.

A fantastic house in a beautiful part of the West Highlands. We had a great week there in October 2025. Victoria the owner is helpful, quick to respond and lives next door so is on hand should the need arise. Communication when booking was faultless and Victoria went out of her way to give me a bit more flexibility when booking due to some health issues on my part – this was appreciated. The house is stunning and was spotless for our arrival. It has everything you could need for a very comfortable stay. The hot tub at the front of the house was a great spot to relax. Dog friendly with a fully enclosed garden. Definitely aim to return some day.

We loved our stay at Litua. The view as you enter is just lovely, it’s close to lots of lovely small beaches. We just totally chilled and the hot tub was great. It was clean, had everything you’d need and so cozy and comfortable. I would highly recommend.

We can’t stop coming back! The lodge is perfect for a nice relaxing break with amazing views, just a stone throw from the beach. Its added bonus is the hot tub and if the sun comes out it’ll be in your face all day. And the complimentary fresh eggs from their local hens with wine and bread was a really lovely gesture. Litua is a great, well-appointed accommodation with stunning peaceful views from all over the house. We stayed for a week and were amazed at all the quality fittings and equipment the house has. Nothing is spared from the moment you step in the door. The kitchen even has weighing scales and a cake tin! All the bedrooms are huge and the beds were very comfortable. We had mixed weather, but the accommodation helped us chill and enjoy the amazing scenery. The hot tub was a lovely luxury to come back to after a day exploring the area. Booking the house was very easy and the hosts were prompt in replying. We have been holidaying in this area for many years and this has to be the best accommodation we have had.
